We are Vanish Mode ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), an online service provider operating in the United States. We operate the website https://www.vanishmode.me and related products and services (collectively, the "Services").
These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vanish Mode concerning your access to and use of the Services. By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these Legal Terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the Services and must discontinue use immediately.
By using the Services, you authorize vanishmode.me to submit deletion, suppression, opt-out, and related privacy requests on your behalf using the information you provide. You confirm that all information submitted is accurate and that you have the legal right to authorize these requests.
Services are provided on a best-effort basis and may depend on third-party systems, verification procedures, legal exceptions, external response times, and data broker policies. Previously removed information may reappear due to republication, resale, public record updates, caching, or third-party data collection practices outside of vanishmode.me's control.
vanishmode.me is not responsible for the actions, failures, delays, data handling practices, or republication activities of third-party websites, brokers, agencies, or service providers. Certain removal requests may require identity verification or additional documentation before processing can be completed.
vanishmode.me is not a law firm and does not provide legal, financial, regulatory, or compliance advice. Information provided through the Services is for informational and automation assistance purposes only. Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of information submitted through the platform.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You authorize recurring charges until cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@vanishmode.me.
Vanish Mode operates an optional referral program that allows active subscribers to earn rewards by inviting others to sign up. Participation is subject to the following terms.
How it works. Each active subscriber may generate a unique referral link. When a new user creates an account using that link and completes their first full billing cycle (i.e., renews their subscription for the first time), the referring subscriber earns a $10.00 USD cash reward paid via PayPal. Rewards are not earned at signup — they require the referred user to remain a paying subscriber through their first renewal.
Eligibility. To earn referral rewards you must: (a) be an active Vanish Mode subscriber at the time the reward is triggered; (b) have a valid PayPal email address on file in your account settings; and (c) not have exceeded the maximum reward cap (currently 10 rewards per referrer, subject to change with notice).
Payout timing. Rewards are queued 30 days after the referred user's first renewal to allow for the standard chargeback window. If your PayPal email is not set when the reward fires, the funds are held for 30 days before being forfeited. Once a PayPal email is saved it is locked to prevent misdirection of in-flight payouts — contact privacy@vanishmode.me if you need to update it.
Chargebacks. If a referred user initiates a payment dispute or chargeback, any pending referral payout associated with that account will be cancelled immediately. If a payout has already been sent, Vanish Mode may offset the amount against future earnings.
Program changes. We reserve the right to modify reward amounts, eligibility rules, payout timelines, velocity limits, caps, or to discontinue the referral program entirely at any time with or without notice. Rewards already paid are not subject to clawback except in cases of fraud.
Because vanishmode.me begins processing scans, monitoring, and removal requests shortly after onboarding, refunds may be limited once work has commenced.
Refunds may be granted for: duplicate charges, technical billing errors, or if services have not yet begun processing.
Generally non-refundable: completed scans, submitted removal requests, active monitoring periods, and work already performed.
Vanish Mode implements industry-standard and best-practice security measures to protect your personal information, including AES-256-CBC field-level encryption for sensitive data, TLS 1.3 in transit, JWT authentication with server-side invalidation, session timeouts, access controls, and tamper-evident audit logging. We take the protection of your data seriously and invest in security as a core function of our service.
Vanish Mode shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from:
(a) unauthorised access to or alteration of your data resulting from a cyberattack, zero-day vulnerability, or security incident that could not have been prevented through commercially reasonable efforts;
(b) security incidents affecting our third-party infrastructure providers (Supabase, Railway, Cloudflare, Anthropic, Stripe) that are outside our direct control;
(c) compromise of your account credentials due to phishing, social engineering, malware, password reuse, or any breach originating on your own device or accounts;
(d) interception of data in transit by nation-state actors, government agencies, or force-majeure events;
(e) re-aggregation, republication, or re-sale of your personal information by data brokers after we have submitted a deletion request on your behalf — once data is removed from a broker it may re-enter circulation through public records, third-party data sales, or other sources beyond our control;
(f) any breach resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Breach notification. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay as required by applicable law. Notifications will be sent to the email address on your account.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, using a strong unique password, and promptly notifying us at privacy@vanishmode.me if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, vanishmode.me, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or data-loss damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or damage to reputation, whether or not foreseeable or advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services — including claims related to data security incidents or breaches — shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the total amount paid by you during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first attempt informal resolution for thirty (30) days. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in New Castle County, Delaware under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Users waive any right to participate in class action proceedings or jury trials.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and vanishmode.me regarding use of the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
